Independent test and tag services for Perth businesses

Here is what we do, in plain words, and what you get from each service.

Our testing services

Electrical test and tag

$75 for up to 15 appliances, then $3.50 each

Test and tag is a safety check for electrical items that plug into a power point, such as kettles, computers, power boards and extension leads.

We look over each item for damage, test it with a portable appliance tester, then fit a tag to show it has been tested.

What you get

  • Appliances tested to Australian Standards
  • Clear, durable tags for easy identification
  • A visit to your workplace, with no call-out fee
  • A heads-up about any item that does not pass

Portable RCD testing

$8.00 per portable RCD, $50 minimum on its own

RCD stands for residual current device. It is a safety switch that cuts the power quickly if it senses a fault.

Portable ones plug in at the power point, or are built into some power boards and extension leads. We test yours to check they trip when they should.

What you get

  • Each portable RCD checked to see that it trips when it should
  • $8.00 per portable RCD, with a $50 minimum when booked on its own
  • No RCD minimum when added to appliance testing
  • A visit to your workplace, with no call-out fee

After your visit you get a test report. It is a clear record of what was tested and how each item went, ready for your files.

We keep a note of when your equipment was last tested and let you know when your next round is coming up, so it is one less thing to remember.

From booking to report

  1. Book

    Send us the booking form or give us a call, and tell us roughly how many appliances you have.

  2. We come to you

    We visit your workplace at a time that suits you. There is no call-out fee.

  3. We test and tag

    Each appliance is checked, tested and tagged.

  4. You get your report

    We send you a report of what was tested, ready for your files.
